Principal Partner

Josh is a founding partner of Shadowcast Partners, responsible for deal sourcing, acquisitions, asset management and financial operations of both the CRE and studio advisory groups.

Josh is among the country's most sought after resources for sound stage/film studio operational modeling and financial underwriting, having advised many of the country's preeminent REITs, Private Equity and Institutional Capital groups. He has an extensive background in international business management and commercial real estate  development, with a particular focus on hospitality and resort development, in addition to sound stage/media production assets. 

Josh has developed over half a billion dollars in resort/ hospitality properties across Latin America and advised numerous REITs and private equity groups on the development and acquisition of film studios throughout the U.S. 

Prior to starting Shadowcast, Josh was the Director of Business & Development Strategy for major Spanish developer, Isolux Corsan. While there he led development of Azul de Cortez resort in La Paz, MX and several resorts in the Punta Cana region of the Dominican Republic. 

A 5th generation Montanan, Josh is again based in the Missoula area after several years in Europe and Latin America. 

Josh has a BA in Economics from Carleton College (MN) and an MBA from ESADE Business School in Barcelona.

Adam co-founded Shadowcast Partners in 2016. His responsibilities include deal sourcing, programming, capital formation and investor relations for the CRE group, along with business development, project management and client relations for Shadowcast's sound stage/film studio development advisory  business. 

Adam is a leading expert in the U.S. film studio, soundstage and media production industrial real estate asset class. Adam has facilitated the planning, development and/or acquisition of over 5MM SF of studio real estate in Georgia, New York, New Jersey, Illinois and New Mexico. 

Adam is also a Partner at Denver-based private equity group, FAST Preferred Equity, specializing in structured capital solutions for ground-up Multifamily development projects across the U.S.  

Previously, Adam worked in commercial development for Zocalo Communities, following several years as an international business strategy and brand management executive in the European and U.S. consumer-packaged goods and food/beverage industries.  

Adam holds a Master’s in Finance & Commercial Real Estate Development from the University of Denver, where he graduated with top honors among his class.  He received his Bachelor's degree from Kelley School of Business at Indiana University with a double major in Finance & International Business.

Evan became a partner at Shadowcast in 2019, and focuses exclusively on the group's Intermountain West CRE business, where he leads debt markets and acquisition/development financing.

Evan is also a Vice President at Merchants Capital,  managing the company's Capital Markets team. His focus is on building out Merchants Asset Management LLC, a New York-based Registered Investment Advisor that raises private equity from institutional and family office clients to purchase commercial real estate debt and securities. 

Prior to joining Merchants, Evan served as the head of direct lending for a top HUD lender and was a CMBS bond trader and market maker at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. 

Evan is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps serving as a Reconnaissance Marine and Scout Sniper. 

Evan attended the University of Montana before attaining his bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Washington.

Hector joined Shadowcast as a partner at in 2019. He focuses exclusively on the group's Intermountain West CRE business, responsible for budgeting and construction management.

Hector is CEO of COCONAL, an infrastructure development company based in Mexico City. COCONAL develops over $400 MM in annual infrastructure projects throughout Mexico and Latin America. 

His core expertise is in public-private partnerships, project finance, infrastructure development and operation, as well as construction management. He is one of the founders of TU/MX, a company that does regeneration of public spaces and urbanism. 

Hector received a BS in Engineering from Universidad Iberoamericana (Mexico City) and an MBA from ESADE in Barcelona.
